Caitlin learned to ride with no training wheels!!!

On Monday, February 19 Caitlin decided to hop on Breanna's bike and take off with no training wheels! At that point we took the training wheels off her bike. After that, she hopped on hers and stayed on for quite awhile! She did great! At first, Kev had to chase her up and down the street in front of our house. I think she ended up being faster than him! It seemed to make Kevin tired after chasing her up and down the street! They had a blast together! Of course Bre had fun being a big sister and being able to help Caitlin ride!

On Tuesday, February 20, the high risk doctor we are seeing through this pregnancy informed us that if the contractions and labor gets any worse, he will go ahead and do the c-section now. We were worried about Brittney only being 33 weeks, but Dr. Harlass has complete confidence that Nicholas will be okay if it has to be done. If we do end up having him early, he will more than likely spend a week or so in NICU. But, in the end he will be okay. Pray for us that we make it to the surgery date! Less than four weeks if we can wait that long! We are hoping we can. Last week was just a real rough week with the preterm labor.

Baby Shower!

Two of my closer friends out here put together a baby shower for me, welcoming soon-to-be Nicholas Scott Biddle into the world! We ended up having a good time. I have to say, it was nice having time away from the children and adult conversation. We all have kids and rarely have time for adults.

A week before the shower Kev and I found out that we are having Nicholas on March 21, by c-section of course. It is a little sooner than we planned, I will only be 37 weeks along. Not long to go and our little man will be here. It is hard to believe this pregnancy is coming to an end. It has gone by so much faster than the other two. Maybe it is because I stay so busy with the other two!

Thanks ladies for putting the shower together and for all that showed and the gifts! You guys have me looking even more forward to Nicholas.

How cute is this cake?

Caitlin's 4th Birthday Party

Caitlin turned four this year, so hard to believe! Our little girl is getting so big! Time sure does fly when kids are in the picture. Caitlin decided she wanted her birthday party to be held at Chuck E Cheese this year. It was a smaller one since we are still fairly new to the area, but the kids and adults ended up having a great time! I think the dad's played more games than the kids! Thankfully, Kevin was home to celebrate her birthday this year. It is the first one he has been home for since he enlisted in the Army, so needless to say, it is the first one ever! Caitlin loved it!

Christmas 2006

This past Christmas was spent right outside of El Paso, Texas in our new house. It was another one away from the family in Georgia, yet spent with each other here. We missed everyone back home, but enjoyed the fact that we were able to celebrate it together. I believe that was the best part, just being with one another, since Kevin was not even supposed to be here this time.

We were able to share Christmas Eve with some of our closest friends out here. There ended up being two other families over to our house for dinner. Melissa and Brittney spent two days straight in the kitchen cooking and baking! Everything turned out great for the dinner on Christmas Eve! The adults all had fun as did the kids!

A way to keep in touch....

I decided to start this blog for a couple different reasons. One, is to keep our family and friends better involved in our lives. The other is to give Kevin something to look at and smile over while he is in Iraq. I hope this helps him through his days out there while he is away from home. As you know by now, Kev was supposed to get out of the Army based on Family Care Plan. A few weeks before he was supposed to be discharged, things changed and he found out that he is able to stay in. They are allowing him to remain here at home with us until a few weeks after Nicholas is born. Then, at that point, he will join his Unit in Iraq. So, we are now looking at the start of May. Please keep him in all of your thoughts and prayers. Pray for a safe return home when this deployment is over with. I know I will be. It will be rough on us all.

Why can't they always be this sweet......

What a look... Is that not a Kevin look?
Only little miss Caitlin could pull it off
