Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day! The kids and I started the day meeting with Terri and Mike for brunch. After that we headed to Dustin and Whitney's apartment to get on the internet so we could talk to Kevin for a little while. We were able to see him on the web cam, as he was us. The best part of the day! It was the first time the girls were able to see him in right at two months. They loved seeing Daddy and made sure to tell everyone. After we got off the net with Kevin, we headed to my mom's house to cookout. Then, we all headed to Atlanta for the fireworks. All in all, it was a good day.

Kevin is doing pretty good. As always, he stays very busy with work. Staying busy helps the time to pass. We are lucky enough to talk to him every day or so. Being able to talk often definitly helps me and the girls day to day. We show Nicholas pictures and videos all the time.

Now, it is time to get ready to head back to El Paso! We had a great time seeing family in Georgia.

Lake Lanier

We spent the day on Lake Lanier as a late celebration for Dustin's birthday with our dad and family. The girls had a blast jumping off the boat and playing in the lake. Nic spent most of the day sleeping.

Happy 21st Dustin!!!

Dustin, my younger brother, turned 21 on June 29. We took started off the evening blindfolding him from Marietta to Lawrenceville. Of course, the poor guy had to sit blindfolded in Friday traffic. Sorry Dustin! He had no idea we were taking him to Midieval Times. It was a great surprise for him, somewhere he wanted to go. We all had a wonderful time!

We ended up somewhere so he could finish the night playing pool, of course we had to get him a cookie cake!

I had to put Nicholas in his new float to make sure he would like it. Of course he did. He was full of smiles while in it, except when he saw the camera.

Zoo Atlanta

We have been in GA for over a week now. We have really enjoyed being able to see family and friends! Great little getaway! I took the kids to the zoo in Atlanta with some family. They had a blast being able to see so many animals. Nothing like the El Paso Zoo. By the end of the day all three kids were worn out. They slept all the way to Grannie and Grandpa's house!

Swimming

The girls spent the day playing in the pool at Uncle Dustin's apartment pool! They had a blast and of course put up a fight when the time came to leave.

Nic is so full of smiles now! He is one of the most happiest babies I have ever seen! This pictures was taken on June 1, a little over two months old!

He slept through the night for the first time last night! I put him to bed at 8:30 and he woke up hungry at about five this morning! Hopefully Nic will keep that up!

The girls are great, ready to see everyone in Atlanta! We are so excited about our upcoming trip!

Kevin is doing good. I still hear from him every few days. He is off tower guard, so he is a lot happier now! As always, keep him in your prayers! We all miss him so much!
